Job summary

ABM is seeking a Supervisor to oversee projects at a designated Everett site, guiding day-to-day team operations and ensuring performance goals are met. You will supervise Site janitorial and Porter staff, train on cleaning protocols, and maintain strong client relationships.

You will promote a safe work environment, lead staff development, and coordinate schedules to guarantee timely service delivery while supporting emergency and off-hour needs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience supervising employees.
• Experience in commercial cleaning industry is a plus.
• Experience managing teams including staff retention, coaching and development.
• Valid Driver’s License and driving record required for vehicle operation.
• Proven ability to handle confidential information discreetly.
• Detail-oriented with high accuracy.
• Strong organizational, multi-tasking and prioritization skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including presentations to groups.
• Resourceful team player with a positive, approachable demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain strong client relationships with a positive customer service orientation.
• Serve as main point-of-contact for client liaisons and ensure quality standards are met.
• Provide leadership and support, available for emergency and off-hour support.
• Promote safety culture; train staff on PPE and safe movement practices.
• Plan and assign work schedules to meet service delivery expectations.
• Ensure timely responses to client-reported emergency cleaning situations.
• Train staff on building and property security protocols at client locations.
• Instruct on ABM standard and non-standard cleaning protocols.
• Train staff on proper use and storage of cleaning supplies/chemicals; maintain SDS and OSHA compliance.
• Train staff on safe operation of cleaning equipment.
• Lead Site janitorial and Porter staff; monitor timekeeping and adherence to schedules.
• Identify opportunities for additional billable work with new or existing clients.
• Arrange substitutions or personally perform work when absences could impact contracts.
