Job summary

ABM Industries is seeking a Lead to ensure facility operations meet policies and procedures at an Anchorage site. You will coordinate daily tasks, delegate assignments, and supervise the team when the Manager is away. The role involves safe cleaning operations, handling chemicals, and supporting janitorial duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• A high school diploma, GED, or college degree is not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction to team members.
• Follow assigned work schedules and route cards; report barriers.
• Maintain open communication between field staff and management and document client communications.
• Assist with daily and weekly work schedules.
• Oversee and perform cleaning operations in the assigned building.
• Handle keys and access cards for the property.
• Report damaged, broken, or non-working features/items.
• Oversee and perform additional service requests as needed.
• Ensure quality of jobs and confirm completion with Area Manager.
• Provide training for all new hires assigned to the building per onboarding procedures.
• Complete and validate time records for employees and subcontractors.
• Check supplies, equipment, and chemicals weekly.
• Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.
