Job summary

ABM Industries is seeking a reliable Lead to oversee facility operations at a Savannah location. You will supervise janitorial staff, delegate tasks, and ensure adherence to policies.

Responsibilities include coordinating daily schedules, training new hires, managing keys and access, and reporting to the Supervisor. The role requires 1 year of supervisory experience, strong customer service skills, and the ability to work with diverse teams.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma, GED, or college degree not required.
• 1 year of similar work experience preferred.
• 1 year of customer service experience preferred.
• 1 year of lead or supervisory experience preferred.
• Valid Driver’s license preferred.
• Bilingual in Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction to team members.
• Relay communication between team members, client, customers and management.
• Report performance issues to the Supervisor.
• Assist with the training of cleaning team.
• Coordinate work assignments.
• Assist with making daily and weekly work schedules.
• Oversee and perform cleaning operations in assigned building.
• Manage security of keys and access cards for the property.
• Report work orders for maintenance.
• Make sure premises are secured at all times.
• Schedule jobs with Property Manager and cleaning crew to complete the work.
• Oversee quality of jobs and confirm completion with Manager.
• Provide training to all new hires assigned to the building.
• Check supplies, equipment, and chemicals weekly.
• Complete order forms completely and accurately.
• Coordinate equipment usage and inventories.
