Job summary

Windham Mountain Club is hiring a winter seasonal Facilities Cleaning role based in Windham, NY. This guest-facing position supports the ski lodge and surrounding areas, requiring a friendly attitude, attention to detail, and a commitment to cleanliness throughout busy shifts.

You will clean restrooms, hallways, dining areas and locker rooms, restock supplies, assist with events, and ensure safety and sanitary standards while interacting with guests and team members.

Qualifications

• Cleaning, maintenance, or janitorial experience preferred.
• Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Adaptable and willing to learn new skills.
• Comfortable interacting with guests and coworkers.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain restrooms, hallways, offices, dining areas, locker rooms, fitness facilities, and other assigned spaces.
• Assist with guest area setups, breakdowns, and special events.
• Restock supplies and maintain storage areas.
• Remove trash and transport waste to designated dumpsters.
• Conduct routine inspections to ensure cleanliness standards are met.
• Communicate effectively with team members and other departments.
• Provide friendly guest assistance and address minor issues as needed.
• Follow safety procedures, timekeeping policies, and department standards.
• Maintain equipment and a professional appearance.

Work Location:

In-person role based in Windham, NY.

Seasonal Position:

This role is available for the winter season.

Pay:

18 per hour

Anticipated Start Dates:

Weather-dependent, typically beginning in early December.

Conditions:

This role is primarily performed indoors in a fast-paced environment.

Position Summary:

• Lift and move up to 50 pounds.
• Stand and walk for up to 10 hours.
