Job summary

The GIANT Company in Phoenixville, PA is seeking a dedicated team member to clean office spaces, restrooms, break rooms, and outdoor areas. You will operate floor cleaners and power washers, handle trash removal, and maintain a safe, clean store environment for customers and staff.

Shift hours are 4+ hours with a focus on safety and adherence to PPE and company policies. English literacy and physical readiness are required to perform all duties in this role.

Qualifications

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Must communicate and understand company policies and safety regulations to complete duties
• Must meet ergonomic and physical requirements of the position, with or without accommodations
• Must be able to use or learn to use the equipment and tools used to perform this job
• Must complete the company introductory (probationary) period of 30 or 60 days
• Must read, write, and communicate in English as it relates to this job and safety regulations

Responsibilities

• Review work schedule at shift start, check equipment and supplies, follow PPE requirements and prepare for duties
• Clean and vacuum floors in the office and conference spaces
• Clean and mop tile floors in restrooms and break areas
• Remove all trash, operate compactor and bailer, clean spills, and use power washer to clean sidewalks
• Dust and wash surfaces
• Wash mirrors, glass, surfaces, floors, and equipment in break rooms, lunchrooms, and restrooms
• Resupply items as needed
• Use floor cones to designate potentially hazardous floor conditions
