Job summary

Diversified Maintenance is hiring a Janitor to perform all-purpose cleaning and upkeep of assigned areas within client sites. The role requires flexibility to adapt tasks per client specifications and to maintain a clean, safe environment.

The position offers full-time hours with a pay rate of $17.00 per hour. Responsibilities include floor cleaning, restroom maintenance, trash disposal, window cleaning, and carpet care, with on-the-job training provided as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent or 6 months janitorial experience.
• On the job training will be provided.
• Attention to detail is required.
• Ability to follow instructions effectively.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and clean all floor surfaces (sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, vacuuming).
• Follow procedures for chemical cleaners and power equipment to protect floors and surfaces.
• Clean and maintain restrooms, meeting rooms, corridors, and entrance areas.
• Empty trash and dispose properly; use of compactors as needed.
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors with appropriate cleaners and equipment.
• Spot clean carpets and assist in carpet extractions and shampooing.
