Job summary

Diversified Maintenance is hiring a Janitor. The role involves performing all-purpose cleaning and preservation of assigned areas inside a building or multiple client sites. The position offers Part/Full Time with a pay rate of $15 per hour and weekly payment.

Responsibilities include floor care, restroom maintenance, trash disposal, window cleaning, carpet care, and following the client’s specifications. On-the-job training is provided to successful applicants.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent or 6 months janitorial experience.
• On the job training will be provided.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to follow instructions effectively.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and clean all floor surfaces including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing or vacuuming.
• Follow procedures for chemical cleaners and power equipment to protect floors.
• Clean restrooms, meeting rooms, corridors, and entrance areas.
• Empty trash and use compactors as required.
• Clean windows, glass partitions and mirrors.
• Spot clean carpets and assist in carpet extractions and shampooing.
• Replenish paper products and sanitary supplies.
• Follow housekeeping schedule.
• Occasionally use heavy cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers and buffers.
• Other duties as assigned per client scope.
