Job summary

Diversified Maintenance is hiring a Janitor to perform all-purpose cleaning and preservation of assigned areas inside client sites. Flexible duties per client specifications, with a focus on reliability and attention to detail.

This position offers full-time hours, with shifts from 6am to 11am, Monday through Sunday, and a starting wage of $13 per hour. Training is provided, and opportunities for growth exist within a leading facility services provider.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent or 6 months of janitorial experience.
• On-the-job training will be provided.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to follow instructions effectively.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and clean all floor surfaces by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming.
• Follow procedures for chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage.
• Clean, monitor, and maintain restrooms, meeting rooms, corridors, and entrance areas.
• Empty trash and use compactor for certain materials.
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors with appropriate cleaners.
• Spot clean carpets and assist in carpet extraction and shampooing.
• Replenish paper products and sanitary supplies.
• Follow housekeeping schedule.
• Occasionally use heavy cleaning equipment like floor scrubbers and buffers.
• Other duties as assigned by scope of work or customer needs.
