Job summary

Kinsley Power Systems is seeking a dedicated janitor to keep our facility clean and orderly. The role includes cleaning offices, restrooms, breakrooms, and common areas, as well as floor care and waste disposal to maintain a welcoming environment.

The successful candidate will have a High School Diploma or equivalent, at least two years of janitorial experience, and strong attention to detail. Candidates must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and comply with safety regulations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent work-related experience.
• Minimum of two years’ janitor/custodian experience or equivalent.
• Factory/plant janitor or sanitation experience is a plus.
• Ability to read basic operating instructions.
• Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers.
• Good listening and reading skills.
• Detail oriented with strong work ethic.
• Good verbal and written communication.
• Strong problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Keep floors and rugs clean and attractive.
• Pay close attention to detail.
• Disinfect sinks, counters, mirrors, showers, floors, and walls.
• Collect and dispose of garbage daily.
• Maintain cleaning supply inventory.
• Clean furniture and woodwork; wash, dust, wax, and polish.
• Clean offices and reception area daily.
• Scrub and disinfect toilets, floors, and stalls daily.
• Identify and report maintenance needs promptly.
• Follow plant, OSHA, and safety regulations.
• Perform other assigned tasks.
