Job summary

Controlled Contamination Services is seeking a dependable Janitor to perform general upkeep and cleaning of interior facilities, lobby, offices, restrooms and other areas per contract. The role includes trash removal, floor care (vacuum, mop, strip and wax) and surface cleaning with attention to safety rules.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED (or equivalent), basic math skills for measurements and money handling, and the ability to work in a physically demanding environment.

Qualifications

• Basic math skills for measuring, money handling, and units.

Responsibilities

• Pick up trash and replace with trash liners.
• Vacuum, mop, strip and wax, and sweep all floor areas.
• Dust, wall spot, clean all glass, polish, sanitize all areas.
• Wash, clean, wipe down, sponge, rinse, scour and disinfect any assigned work area.
• Note and report all areas in need of repair and any hazardous condition requiring correction.
• Adhere to all safety rules and requirements and all policies and procedures.
• Report all damage to customer property, suspicious activities and unsafe conditions within their work area to the supervisor.
• All other duties as defined by supervisor.
