Job summary

Southeastern Property Management LLC is seeking a reliable Janitor/Housekeeper to maintain cleanliness and safety across facilities in the United States. You will perform daily cleaning tasks, restock supplies, and report maintenance needs to help create a welcoming environment.

This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to follow safety procedures. Prior experience is not required, but certifications and green cleaning knowledge are valued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in janitorial/housekeeping is preferred but not required.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, standing for extended periods.
• Basic understanding of cleaning chemicals and safe handling procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and polishing floors and surfaces.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, replenishing supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper as needed.
• Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste in accordance with facility guidelines and environmental regulations.
• Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, reporting any malfunctions or shortages to management.
• Respond promptly to spills, stains, or other cleanliness issues to ensure a safe environment.
• Assist with minor maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs, replacing air filters, and reporting repair needs.
• Follow established safety protocols and use personal protective equipment to minimize risks during cleaning operations.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure cleaning schedules and quality standards are consistently met.
