RHF is seeking a diligent Janitor to maintain cleanliness, safety, and appearance of Virginia Park Apartments, a 40-unit community designed for mobility or sensory-impaired residents. The role emphasizes independent work, attention to detail, and reliability in daily cleaning, waste management, and minor maintenance tasks.

The position is non-exempt with potential overtime in accordance with federal and state laws, offering competitive hourly pay and standard benefits for RHF employees.

Qualifications

• Experience in janitorial or custodial work preferred but not required; training provided.
• Basic knowledge of cleaning supplies, equipment, and techniques.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily cleaning tasks across offices, hallways, restrooms, kitchens, and common areas.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, replace supplies as needed.
• Vacant unit make-ready cleaning to ensure move-in readiness.
• Maintain and clean various flooring surfaces including tile, carpet, and wood.
• Window and glass cleaning; report maintenance needs to supervisor.
