Job summary

Columbia Hospitality, Inc. is seeking a diligent janitorial associate to maintain clean and sanitary facilities. You will perform high-dusting, sanitizing and spot-cleaning, bathroom duties, trash removal, and floor care across food court and public areas.

The role requires adherence to safety practices, ability to follow written and oral instructions, and reliable teamwork while maintaining a neat appearance and courteous customer interactions.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of basic janitorial work, safe practices and use of cleaning chemicals.
• Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions.
• Ability to operate powered and non-powered janitorial equipment and interpret label instructions.

Responsibilities

• Perform high dusting of surfaces above shoulder height in rooms.
• Sanitize and spot-clean surfaces below shoulder height; remove fingerprints and smudges.
• Clean bathrooms with germicidal solution in proper sequence; refill dispensers.
• Empty trash, replace liners, and clean receptacles.
• Dust mop, vacuum, and clean floors; inspect rooms and ensure furniture alignment.
• Outdoor grounds care and cleaning of common areas; spot clean spills and remove litter.
• Assist in food court area cleaning; sanitize tables and remove trash.
• Maintain cleanliness of public areas and report any malfunctions to supervisor.
