Job summary

PENN Entertainment in Bangor, ME, is seeking a capable housekeeping team member to clean and maintain casino facilities, assist guests, and ensure a safe, welcoming environment. The role involves cleaning high areas, offices, lobbies, rest rooms, and other spaces throughout the venue.

Requirements include a minimum 18 years of age, a high school diploma or equivalent (or related experience), basic computer skills, and the ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 25 pounds.

Qualifications

• Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
• High School diploma or equivalent and/or six months related experience and/or training preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Basic computer knowledge

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain high areas such as vents, duct covers, lights, fixtures, beams, signs, columns, ceiling tiles and televisions.
• Clean offices, hallways, lobbies, lounges, rest rooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, escalators and slot machines and other work areas.
• Sweep, mop and vacuum floors; clean rugs, carpets, upholstery, windows, sills and blinds.
• Keep entrance areas clear of snow and ice; shovel and apply salt as needed.
• Maintain garden appearance and keep storage rooms organized.
• Replenish bathroom supplies and assist guests with facility questions.
• Assist with other duties as assigned.
• Lift and/or move up to 25 pounds; stand and walk for extended periods.
