Job summary

PENN Entertainment is hiring for housekeeping positions at our Bangor location. You will be responsible for maintaining guest rooms to our cleanliness standards, restocking supplies, and reporting maintenance issues.

Requirements include being at least 18, high school diploma or equivalent, six months related experience preferred or equivalent education, proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Access, Word, ability to read/write English, basic math, and physical ability to lift up to 25 lbs.

Qualifications

• Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Six months related experience and/or training preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft applications (Excel, Access, Word).
• Must be able to read and write in English and have good verbal communicating skills.
• Basic math skills such as adding, subtracting, fractions, decimals, percentages etc.
• Physically mobile with ability to push, pull, carry and lift up to 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Keep work cart orderly and properly stocked at all times and maintain vacuums.
• Thorough cleanliness and sanitation of guest bathrooms.
• Daily changing of soiled linens on beds and remaking beds following the hotel standards.
• Thorough cleanliness of rooms, balconies and room furnishings.
• Absolute respect for guest’s property should always be exercised.
• Reports to work on time and according to posted schedule.
