Job summary

ABM Industries is seeking a reliable Lead to oversee facility operations at a designated site in the United States. You will delegate tasks, supervise teams in the absence of the Manager, and ensure cleaning standards and safety protocols are followed.

The Lead will operate equipment, handle cleaning chemicals, provide onboarding for new hires, manage time records, and coordinate with the Area Manager. Prior supervisory and customer service experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma, GED, or college degree is not required.
• 1 year of lead or supervisory experience preferred.
• 1 year of customer service experience preferred.
• Valid Driver’s license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow assigned work schedules and route cards as directed; report barriers.
• Provide leadership and direction to team members.
• Maintain open communication between field employees and management; document client communications.
• Assist with daily and weekly work schedules.
• Oversee and perform cleaning operations in assigned building; ensure safety and quality.
• Manage keys and access cards for the property.
• Report damaged or out-of-work features/items and address issues.
• Oversee additional service requests and confirm completion with Area Manager.
• Train new hires per onboarding procedures.
• Complete and verify time records for regular or subcontractor employees.
• Check supplies, equipment, and chemicals weekly.
• Handle miscellaneous duties as assigned.
