Job summary

ABM Industries is seeking a reliable Lead to supervise facility operations at an assigned location in New York. You will delegate tasks, guide staff, and ensure compliance with policies to keep buildings clean and safe for workers and customers.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma, GED, or college degree is not required.
• 1 year of lead or supervisory experience preferred.
• 1 year of customer service experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow assigned work schedules and route cards; report barriers.
• Provide leadership and direction to team members.
• Maintain open communication between field employees and management; document client communications.
• Assist with daily and weekly work schedules.
• Oversee and perform cleaning operations in assigned building.
• Manage keys and access cards for the property; report damaged or missing items.
• Oversee additional service requests and ensure completion with Area Manager.
• Train new hires according to onboarding procedures.
• Complete time records for regular or subcontractor employees.
• Check supplies, equipment, and chemicals weekly.
• Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.
