Job summary

ABM Industries is seeking a reliable Lead to coordinate daily facility operations at an Alaska site. You will delegate assignments, supervise when the manager is away, and ensure safety and cleanliness standards are met. The role includes operating cleaning equipment and handling chemicals as needed.

You will lead a team, train new hires, and maintain clear communication between staff and management. Prior supervisory experience preferred; 18+ and no degree required.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• A high school diploma, GED, or college degree is not required.
• Experience in leading or supervising a team is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily operations by delegating job assignments and providing guidance.
• Supervise at an assigned location when the Manager is not present.
• Oversee cleaning operations and ensure quality, safety, and compliance with client requirements.
• Train new hires and provide ongoing coaching to the team.
• Maintain open communication between field employees and management, and report issues.
