Job summary

ABM Industries seeks a reliable Lead to supervise facility operations, delegate daily tasks, and guide the team at our Huntsville site. The role supports the Manager in their absence, ensuring buildings run clean and safe for workers and customers.

You will operate specialized equipment, handle cleaning chemicals, and train new hires, while maintaining time records and coordinating with management and clients.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or GED not required.
• 1 year of lead or supervisory experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction to team members.
• Follow assigned work schedules, route cards as directed. Report any barriers.
• Oversee and perform cleaning operations in assigned building.
• Takes care of keys and access cards for the property.
• Train new hires assigned to the building per onboarding procedures.
• Complete and validate time records for regular or subcontractor employees.
• Check supplies, equipment, and chemicals weekly.
• Oversee and perform additional service requests in the building.
• Oversee and confirm quality of jobs with Area Manager.
• Report damaged or broken items and respond to issues.
