Job summary

ABM Industries seeks a reliable Lead to coordinate daily facility operations, delegate tasks, and guide teams in maintaining clean and safe buildings. The role involves supervising staff, ensuring adherence to standards, and handling access control for the property.

This position supports general janitorial duties, uses specialized equipment, and requires strong leadership and communication to keep operations running smoothly in a client-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• A high school diploma, GED, or college degree is not required.

Responsibilities

• Follow assigned work schedules and route cards as directed.
• Provide leadership and direction to team members.
• Maintain open communication between field employees and management and document client communications.
• Help with creating daily and weekly work schedules.
• Oversee and perform cleaning operations in assigned building.
• Manage keys and access cards for the property.
• Report damaged, broken, or out-of-work features/items.
• Oversee additional service requests (tag job) in the building.
• Ensure quality of jobs and confirm completion with Area Manager.
• Train new hires assigned to the building per onboarding procedures.
• Complete and validate time records for regular or subcontractor employees.
• Check supplies, equipment, and chemicals weekly.
• Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.
