Job summary

Lignetics Inc. in Brownsville, OR, is hiring an Industrial Facilities Cleaner for a full-time, day-shift role (M-F, 6:00 am – 2:30 pm). Compensation is $19 per hour, with a pre-employment background check and drug screen required.

You will perform light and heavy janitorial duties in a manufacturing setting, monitor facility conditions, report hazards, and back up for Mill/Packaging/Baler Operators as needed. Strong English reading/listening and basic math are required.

Qualifications

• Good eye-hand-foot coordination.
• Ability to concentrate for extended periods and multi-task.
• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to do simple math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Performs light and heavy janitorial duties in a manufacturing environment.
• Assess facility conditions and report hazards to the Plant Manager with repair needs and improvement opportunities.
• Fill in as back up for Mill Operator, Packaging Operator and/or Baler Operator when needed.
• Assist with PM accountabilities as needed.
• Perform other duties as required.
