Newsletter Jobs is seeking a Custodian to maintain a clean building and grounds. You will dust, vacuum, mop, sanitize restrooms and, depending on location, assist with landscaping. You will mix cleaning solutions and monitor supply levels to keep areas well stocked and safe.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, knowledge of cleaning methods, and experience with vacuums and floor buffers. Strong communication and basic math skills are essential, with safety awareness across tasks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Knowledge of standard cleaning methods and procedures.
• Experience with cleaning equipment such as vacuums and floor buffers.
• Ability to read safety rules and operating instructions.
• Basic math skills to mix chemical ingredients.
• Clear communication skills, verbally and in writing.
• Basic computer knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Mix cleaning solutions and chemicals as instructed.
• Regularly check and replenish supplies.
• Operate cleaning equipment to clean offices, restrooms, and dressing rooms.
• Perform routine cleaning tasks: dusting, mopping, scrubbing, vacuuming, steam cleaning.
• Empty trash and manage waste disposal.
• Landscape duties may be required depending on location.
• Report equipment repairs and supply needs to supervisor.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
