Job summary

thyssenkrupp Bilstein of America, Inc. in Hamilton, Ohio is seeking a dependable custodial staff member to maintain clean production floors, manage spills safely, and keep the maintenance cage and surrounding areas orderly.

The role requires a high school diploma, reliable attendance, and good teamwork. You will support events setup, assist during absences, and perform duties to ensure a safe, clean facility.

Responsibilities

  • Clean production facility floors using floor care equipment.
  • Clean maintenance cage equipment and floors to eliminate debris.
  • Clean up emergency spills and perform minor emergency cleaning duties.
  • Wash windows inside and outside and remove cobwebs from entryways.
  • Assist in setting up and arranging tables and chairs for events/meetings.
  • Support custodial staff by filling in for absent members and cleaning bathrooms/dining areas.
  • Perform all other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Your responsibilities

Summary: As part of the custodial staff, is responsible for keeping production floors clean and free of oil, maintaining and cleaning of the maintenance cage to include the floors, machinery, refrigerator and upstairs office area. Maintains cleanliness of parking lots, back of the plant, outside of Technical Center to include emptying of all outside trash receptacles.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities


  • Cleans production facility floors using Zamboni, floor scrubber and dust mop.

  • Cleans maintenance cage equipment and floors to eliminate unwanted debris.

  • Cleans up emergency spills and handles minor emergency cleaning duties when observed and or requested.

  • Washes outside and inside windows in the plant. Uses broom to remove cobwebs above windows and outside entry ways into the plant.

  • Assists in the set-up, arranges tables and chairs in preparation for events and meetings.

  • Supports the custodial staff when members are absent by filling in to empty trash bins and clean bathrooms and dining areas.

  • Performs all other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
