Job summary

Unified Government of Wyandotte County/Kansas City, KS is seeking a Caretaker in the Parks and Recreation Department to clean, maintain and secure community spaces. Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED or equivalent with ability to perform essential duties.
• Experience with custodial equipment and cleaning products.
• Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain community centers, reservation halls, offices, restrooms, kitchens, and common areas.
• Set up and teardown tables, chairs, and other equipment for reservations and events.
• Operate custodial equipment (floor machines, buffers, vacuums) safely.
• Report maintenance concerns and safety hazards to supervisor.
