The Custodian Supervisor is responsible for supervising custodians (caretakers) and performing a wide variety of custodial duties.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate the work of custodial staff.
• Train and supervise the custodial team.
• Inspect facilities regularly to determine necessary maintenance and cleaning.
• Ensure all cleaning equipment and supplies are in good working order and sufficiently stocked.
• Ensure safety and health regulations are followed.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and order as needed.
• Interact with clients or building tenants to address concerns and receive feedback.
• Develop and implement cleaning schedules and routines.
• Respond to emergency cleaning and maintenance requests.
• Prepare reports on cleaning operations and status of facilities.

Minimum Qualifications

High School Diploma or General Equivalency Degree (G.E.D.) and three years of custodial experience; or any equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above.

Salary Range

$17.77–$22.25/hr.
