Job summary

Forgent Power Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Facilities Supervisor in Hanover, MD to oversee safe, compliant operation of the site, including building envelope, infrastructure, and supporting systems.

You will lead capital projects, manage contractors, and own licensing and inspections under Maryland and county rules. You will partner with Operations to ensure production readiness, drive continuous improvement, and minimize disruptions that affect safety, quality, and productivity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in FM/CM/Engineering or related field.
• 7+ years of facilities management experience, including capital/construction projects.
• Experience leading general and trade contractors, bid processes, and safety oversight.
• Working knowledge of building, fire, life safety codes, OSHA/MOSH, and local permitting.

Responsibilities

• Lead facility capital projects from scoping to closeout.
• Develop and manage project schedules and budgets.
• Coordinate with architects and engineers on drawings and specs.
• Oversee on-site construction activities with minimal production disruption.
• Ensure compliance with building and life-safety codes (IBC, NFPA, NEC, ADA).
• Manage permits, inspections, and documentation (O&M, warranties).
• Source and manage contractors, RFPs, proposals, and awards.
• Administer contracts including pricing, terms, and warranties.
• Establish KPIs and conduct performance reviews with vendors.
• Lead safety orientation and lockout/tagout controls with EHS.
