Union Bank & Trust seeks a Facilities Building Engineer to inspect and maintain building systems (fire alarms, HVAC, plumbing) across Lincoln locations. The role oversees external contractors, manages energy efficiency, and ensures compliance with safety and environmental standards.

The position requires an associate degree in a technical field, 5+ years facilities experience, and a valid Nebraska driver’s license. Occasional off-hours work may be necessary.

Competenze

• Associates degree with focus on technical area preferred.
• At least 5 years of facilities experience and/or trade school training preferred.
• Valid Nebraska driver’s license with good driving record.
• Universal CFC certification preferred; additional relevant certs encouraged.

Mansioni

• Inspect and maintain building systems including fire alarms, HVAC, and plumbing to meet design specs.
• Oversee work by outside contractors and review completed tasks.
• Manage energy use and building management systems for efficiency and cost control.
• Respond to emergencies and coordinate with maintenance teams as needed.
• Maintain safety, compliance with codes, and proper documentation of repairs.
