Job summary

BITZER Scroll Inc. in Syracuse, NY is seeking a experienced Maintenance & Facilities Technician to support the reliability of facility infrastructure and production equipment.

You will perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on HVAC, boilers, conveyors, welders, and automated systems, while collaborating with Manufacturing Engineering and Production teams. The role emphasizes electrical and mechanical troubleshooting, with opportunities to grow in industrial automation,

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of industrial maintenance, facilities maintenance, or manufacturing maintenance experience.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, technical drawings, and equipment manuals.
• Experience with robotics, automation, and controls is a plus.
• Willingness to work shifts and support overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on facility systems including HVAC, compressed air, boilers, plumbing, lighting, and electrical infrastructure.
• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on manufacturing equipment including welders, hydraulic presses, conveyors, assembly equipment, and test stations.
• Troubleshoot electromechanical systems and robotics/automation; read schematics and manuals.
• Support equipment installations, facility upgrades, machine relocations, and capital improvement projects.
