Job summary

BITZER Scroll Inc. in Syracuse, NY is seeking a Maintenance & Facilities Technician to support maintenance, reliability, and continuous improvement of facility infrastructure and manufacturing equipment.

You will perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on HVAC, electrical, and mechanical systems, troubleshoot automation equipment, read schematics, and participate in safety and cost-reduction initiatives.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude.
• Experience troubleshooting robotics, automation, and electromechanical systems.
• Ability to read electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and manuals.
• Working knowledge of CMMS systems and maintenance documentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on facility systems (HVAC, compressed air, electrical distribution, plumbing, boilers).
• Maintain and repair manufacturing equipment (welders, hydraulic presses, conveyors, assemblies).
• Troubleshoot electromechanical and robotic/automation systems.
• Read schematics and technical drawings; assist in installations and upgrades.
• Document work orders and PM tasks in the CMMS; support safety and reliability initiatives.
