Job summary

California State University San Marcos seeks a Facilities Control Specialist to program, install, maintain, and repair building automation systems that manage HVAC, refrigeration and lighting. You will diagnose, calibrate, and repair complex systems and work with Apogee and Niagara software on-site.

This full-time, non-exempt role may lead toward permanent status after a probationary period and requires in-person campus work. A comprehensive benefits package is provided by the CSU.

Qualifications

• Thoroughly conversant in Apogee and Niagara software.
• Journey-level skills to diagnose, repair and maintain complex HVAC systems.

Responsibilities

• Program, install, maintain, adjust, integrate and repair building automation systems.
• Monitor, troubleshoot and respond to technical and mechanical problems, onsite or remotely.
• Maintain and repair mechanical, electrical, electronic, and digital controls of HVAC and related systems.
