Job summary

The California State University San Marcos is seeking a Facilities Control Specialist to manage and maintain complex building automation systems (Apogee, Niagara) for HVAC, refrigeration, and lighting. Qualifications

• Expertise in building automation systems and controls
• Knowledge of safety codes and regulations for HVAC/refrigeration
• Experience with Apogee and Niagara building automation software

Responsibilities

• Program, install, maintain, adjust, integrate and repair building automation systems
• Monitor, troubleshoot, design, calibrate and program system features
• Respond to technical and mechanical problems onsite or remotely
• Maintain operation, maintenance and repairs of HVAC, refrigeration, lighting, and related systems
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and codes
