Summary of Duties and Responsibilities/Essential Functions:

Guest Services
- Complete required brand training.
- Contribute to achieving hotel guest satisfaction goals.
- Provide information and assistance to guests regarding the local area and hotel amenities.
Operations
- Perform daily cleaning of all public and back-of-house areas, ensuring adequate supply stock.
- Report maintenance issues immediately to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work environments, including housekeeping closets and carts.
- Follow all lost and found procedures.
- Ensure trash and debris are continually removed and out of guest view.
- Clean and polish elevator stainless steel panels.
- Monitor pool and fitness areas, ensuring towels are stocked and used towels are removed promptly.
- Wash, sanitize, and wrap guest glassware per brand standards.
- Maintain cleanliness of restrooms and ensure adequate stock of supplies.
- Communicate inventory needs to Housekeeping for reordering.
- Assist with room attendant or laundry operations as needed.
- Complete special cleaning projects as required.
- Follow hotel procedures for Do Not Disturb and maintenance reporting.
- Manage a well-stocked and maintained houseman cart.
- Report maintenance or repair issues immediately.
- Contribute to hotel’s financial goals through loss prevention and cost control.
Safety and Security
- Recognize and address safety hazards and security issues.
- Report hazardous conditions and suspicious activities.
- Follow safety protocols, including MSDS instructions and key control policies.
- Protect guest and staff privacy and hotel assets.
- Be prepared to respond to emergencies.
General Duties and Expectations
- Manage time effectively to complete all tasks.
- Be punctual and maintain a professional appearance.
- Follow all brand standards and demonstrate respect, integrity, and sound judgment.
Physical Demands
Regular walking, handling objects, talking, reaching; occasional standing, climbing, stooping, lifting up to 20 pounds, and more.
Minimum Qualifications
- Prior experience helpful but not required.
- Neat, professional appearance and good organization skills.
- Dependable, reliable, able to work independently and in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical fitness for frequent pushing, pulling, reaching, and lifting up to 20 pounds.
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team.
- Must be 21+ with a valid driver’s license.
