Hartman Family YMCA in San Antonio, TX seeks a dependable housekeeper to maintain clean, sanitary, and welcoming facilities for members of all abilities. The role focuses on daily cleaning, safety, and respectful interaction with participants and families, supporting a first-of-its-kind inclusive Y environment.

The position requires the ability to operate cleaning equipment safely, follow chemical handling procedures, and assist with event setup.

Formación

• Six months+ of related cleaning experience.
• Experience working with individuals with disabilities, families, or disability-serving orgs preferred.
• Ability to communicate professionally with diverse groups.
• Knowledge of cleaning products and safety procedures.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain clean, sanitary, and welcoming YMCA facilities by completing daily tasks and caring for designated areas and equipment.
• Operate cleaning equipment safely and follow procedures for handling cleaning products and chemicals.
• Keep shared spaces accessible, uncluttered, and safe; report repairs as directed.
• Monitor facility conditions and report hazards or security concerns promptly.
• Restock supplies (soap, towels) and maintain clean, functional spaces throughout the facility.
• Assist with furniture and room setup for events, ensuring spaces are organized and welcoming.
• Follow YMCA safety procedures and help maintain a secure environment for members and staff.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
