Little Horizons Academy is seeking a dependable janitorial assistant to join our in-person team. You will arrive by 7:30, maintain a clean learning environment, and support classroom and student activity areas after daily duties.

You will assist the Facilities Manager with cleaning, restocking bathrooms, and event setup/breakdown, contributing to a safe, welcoming school atmosphere for students and staff.

Qualifications

• Timely and dependable; clock in by 7:30, end by 4:00 with a 1 hour unpaid break
• Experience cleaning and using cleaning equipment and supplies
• Ability to be agile and flexible regarding duties and responsibilities
• Ability to work effectively in a diverse work group environment
• Excellent team skills

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Must be timely and dependable – able to be at school and clocked in by 7:30 with a full day schedule ending at 4:00 p.m. with a 1 hour unpaid break per day.
• Assist in the daily cleaning under the direction of the Facilities Manager.
• Assist in set up and breakdown at school events.
• Cleaning of classrooms and student activity areas.
• Empty trash
• Refill and maintain toiletry and hygiene products in bathrooms.
• Implement relevant tasks as instructed by the Facilities Manager.

Required Skills/Abilities:

Education and Experience:
