Job summary

Jobvite, Inc. is seeking a Facilities Technician to assist in day-to-day operations, supporting maintenance needs across the company. The role includes cleaning floors, ceilings, vents, windows, and restrooms, restocking supplies, and aiding facilities staff with projects as needed.

Ideal candidates will have a High School diploma or GED and 2+ years in building maintenance, be comfortable handling cleaning fluids, using a 6’ ladder, and lifting 30–40 pounds. English proficiency required.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School diploma or GED and 2+ years of verifiable facilities maintenance experience.
• Comfortable handling cleaning fluids and performing routine cleaning duties.
• Able to safely use a 6’ ladder and lift 30–40 pounds.
• Familiarity with basic hand and battery powered tools is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with general cleaning of the facility, including floors, ceilings, vents, windows, and restrooms.
• Clean and restock restrooms and breakrooms.
• Perform other cleaning duties such as mopping, sweeping, dusting, and trash removal.
• Support Facilities Department staff with projects as needed and provide backup to other facilities employees.

Job description

Position Description:

This position is responsible for assisting in the day to day operations of the facilities process. Under general supervision, the Facilities Technician provides support for all maintenance related needs throughout the company.

Responsibilities:

• Assisting with general cleaning of the facility, [i.e. vacuuming and sweeping of floors, cleaning of ceiling tiles and air conditioning vents, window cleaning interior and exterior etc.]
• Cleaning and restocking of restrooms and breakrooms.
• Other various cleaning duties as required (including but not limited to mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, wiping, washing, polishing and dusting floors, carpet, walls, windows, and doors; trash removal; cleaning restrooms; stairwells, offices and other areas).
• Assisting Facilities Department staff with projects as needed.
• Helps to maintains adequate custodial supply stocks.
• Assists and serves as back up to other Facilities employees.

Education and Experience

• High School diploma or GED. je
• At least two years of verifiable experience (three or more highly desirable) maintaining various building interiors and exteriors.
