Job summary

L3Harris Technologies is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic C in Camden, Arkansas to perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance under limited supervision, using manufacturer publications, blueprints, schematics and locally generated instructions.

The role involves facilities maintenance (carpentry, flooring, sheet rock), installation of new equipment, HVAC/electrical upkeep, preventive/predictive maintenance and general welding/millwright tasks.

Qualifications

• Requires a HS diploma or equivalent and 6 years of maintenance/related experience, or 2 years post-secondary with 2+ years experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform facilities maintenance duties, carpentry, flooring, sheet rock, etc.
• Install new equipment.
• Repair HVAC equipment, general electrical maintenance, production machinery upkeep/repair, welding, millwright activities or carpentry.
• Conduct preventative maintenance, predictive maintenance, electro-mechanical and mechanical work.
• General shop upkeep, cleaning, and/or organizing.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.
• Valid state issued Driver's License.

Job Description:

The Maintenance Mechanic will work under limited supervision performs scheduled and unscheduled maintenance using manufacturer publications, blueprints, schematics and locally generated instructions.

Essential Functions:

• 60%- Perform facilities maintenance duties, Carpentry, Flooring, Sheet Rock etc.
• 20%- Install new equipment.
• 5%- Repair HVAC equipment, general Electrical Maintenance, Production machinery upkeep/
• repair/ maintenance, general welding, millwright activities or carpentry.
• 10%- Conduct preventative maintenance, predictive maintenance, electro-mechanical and
• mechanical work.
• 5%- General shop upkeep, cleaning, and/or organizing.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.
• Valid state issued Driver's License.

Qualifications:

• Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 6 years of prior maintenance or related experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 2 years of prior maintenance or related experience.

Preferred Additional Skills:

• Considerable knowledge and understanding of service and installation processes of industrial equipment.
• Plans, designs and oversees the reconfiguration, maintenance, construction and alteration of equipment, machinery, buildings, structures, and other facilities
• Qualification for respirator and breathing air devices and work on fire/rescue teams.
• Continued education in a maintenance discipline and cross training into other disciplines within the department will be required as needed.
