Job summary

Community Connections Inc. is seeking a Facilities Assistant to join our team in Wareham, MA. This on-call, full-time role supports the Facilities Manager with basic maintenance, painting, repairs, and equipment upkeep to keep facilities safe and welcoming for clients and staff.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and strong communication. Prior maintenance experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license with clean record.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and use power/manual tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently.
• Experience in facilities maintenance including plumbing, painting and carpentry.

Responsibilities

• Ensure and safeguard consumers' rights and dignity.
• Assist Facility Manager with basic repairs and maintenance tasks.
• Maintain tools and supplies as assigned.
• Supervise and monitor contractors for quality and budget.
• Use maintenance system (MaintainX).
• Procure supplies from designated vendors as directed.
