Job summary

Fontainebleau Development LLC in Aventura, FL is seeking a Part-Time Facilities Assistant to support day-to-day maintenance and housekeeping of our office building.

Responsibilities

# Facilities AssistantHot JobFontainebleau Development - Aventura, FL 33180## Description**Job Title:** Part-Time Facilities Assistant---**Job Summary:**We are looking for a reliable and flexible **Part-Time** **Facilities Assistant** to support the day-to-day maintenance and operational functions at our office building in Aventura. This hands-on role involves a wide range of responsibilities to help maintain the cleanliness, safety, and functionality of the facility. While the primary focus is on maintenance and housekeeping, the position may also require **emergency coverage** for lobby security and occasional courier service between our properties located throughout South Florida.---**Key Responsibilities:*** Perform power washing of floors, windows, sidewalks, and exterior building surfaces.* Assist with interior and exterior painting to maintain building appearance.* Conduct trash pickup and ensure all common areas and building grounds remain clean and presentable.* Handle basic maintenance tasks, such as light repairs, bulb replacements, minor plumbing, and simple carpentry.* General housekeeping duties, including sweeping, mopping, restroom cleaning, and window washing.* Monitor supply levels and restock cleaning and maintenance supplies as needed.* Follow all required safety protocols and wear protective equipment when necessary.* In emergency or staff shortage situations, provide coverage for the lobby security post, including answering phone calls, greeting visitors, monitoring access, and reporting any security concerns.* In staff shortage situations, provide courier services between company properties (must have a valid Florida driver's license).* Any other related duties as assigned by the Facilities Manager.---**Qualifications:*** High school diploma or equivalent preferred.* Experience in maintenance, janitorial, or facilities support is a plus.* Proficiency with power tools, hand tools, and power washing equipment.* Must have a valid Florida driver’s license (for emergency courier duties).* Able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks such as bending, reaching, climbing ladders, and working outdoors.* Dependable, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently or as part of a team.* Willing and able to assist in emergency situations as needed.---**Work Environment:**This position is primarily based at our office in Aventura, with occasional travel required during emergencies. Work includes both indoor and outdoor tasks and may require working in varying weather conditions. Appropriate uniform will be provided.
