Fontainebleau Development in Aventura, FL is seeking a reliable Part-Time Facilities Assistant to support daily maintenance and operations at our office building. This hands-on role includes cleaning, basic repairs, and safety tasks, with occasional lobby security coverage and courier duties between properties across South Florida.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, maintenance or janitorial experience, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Experience in maintenance, janitorial, or facilities support preferred.
• Proficiency with power tools and cleaning equipment.
• Valid Florida driver's license for emergency courier duties.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform outdoor tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform power washing of floors, windows, sidewalks, and exterior building surfaces.
• Assist with interior and exterior painting to maintain building appearance.
• Conduct trash pickup and ensure all common areas and building grounds remain clean and presentable.
• Handle basic maintenance tasks, such as light repairs, bulb replacements, minor plumbing, and simple carpentry.
• General housekeeping duties, including sweeping, mopping, restroom cleaning, and window washing.
• Monitor supply levels and restock cleaning and maintenance supplies as needed.
• Follow all required safety protocols and wear protective equipment when necessary.
• In emergency or staff shortage situations, provide coverage for the lobby security post, including answering phone calls, greeting visitors, monitoring access, and reporting any security concerns.
• In staff shortage situations, provide courier services between company properties (must have a valid Florida driver's license).
• Any other related duties as assigned by the Facilities Manager.
