Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Civil, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Strong knowledge of engineering design standards, specifications, codes and safety criteria.
• Experience with plant or facilities engineering supporting operating equipment and reliability.
• Experience with pressure equipment, piping, static/rotating equipment, tanks, repairs or modifications.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with engineers, operations, site personnel and contractors.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the Area Engineer for a designated plant operating area.
• Support the assigned area with facilities engineers, site contacts, lead engineers, operations and contractors.
• Develop knowledge of other plant areas and participate in monthly facilities surveillance.
• Provide engineering and reliability support for plant pressure equipment and related systems.
• Support plant modifications, changes, and repairs.
• Assist during plant shutdowns and evaluate work for compliance with specs and codes.
• Communicate engineering progress, issues and required actions clearly.
• Adapt to tight deadlines, heavy workloads, and changing priorities.
