Job description

Location: Ridley Park, PA, United States (On-site). Contract (1 year).

Type: Contract assignment through a Boeing approved 3rd party.

This posting is for a contract assignment and is not a full‑time employment offer with Boeing. Candidates selected for roles will be employed as contract workers through a Boeing approved 3rd party for the duration of the specified project.

Responsibilities: With minimal assistance, the candidate will evaluate contractor proposals for fair and reasonable cost, administer contractor activities by participating in contractor selection, contract award, contract change negotiations, constructability reviews, and cost/schedule visibility. The role includes participating in management, customer and contractor reviews to ensure compliance with standard operating procedures.

The role will obtain facilities design and resource commitments for complex projects, develop work packages that may include budget/funding source, schedule, drawings, specifications, statement of work, procurement, estimates, and coordinate with affected parties such as customer, designers, SHEA, crafts, security, and network infrastructure to create an agreed implementation plan.

The candidate will assemble and release work packages by collecting and integrating various documents such as work orders, service requests, drawings, vendor quotes, schedules, permits. They will evaluate requests and meet with customer to define requirements for complex projects, identify acceptable options, clarify needs, and develop the preliminary scope of work.

Other duties include creating layouts and conceptual designs, ensuring compliance with Boeing and regulatory standards, developing options for facilities modifications, supporting conceptual, budgetary, and detailed cost estimates, negotiating options with customers, ensuring project records and closeout, monitoring implementation activities on complex projects, coordinating support functions such as vendors, security, fire, SHEA, network infrastructure, and ensuring project implementation meets quality, cost, schedule and regulatory requirements.

Requirements: Applicable and appropriate educational/certification credentials from an accredited institution and/or equivalent experience are required.

Min Pay Rate $33 per hour
