Job summary

Elmhurst Park District is seeking team members to help maintain our parks, facilities, and programs. The role involves cleaning, light repairs, reporting issues, and assisting with district events. Availability across days with afternoon/evening shifts and 20–30 hours per week is expected.

Ideal candidates have at least a high school education, are 18+, and hold a valid Illinois driver’s license. The starting pay is $16.00/hour, with a pay grade D range of $15.25–$25.50.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid Illinois Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Clean and disinfect all areas of facility and grounds as assigned.
• Perform light repair and maintenance of facility and grounds as assigned.
• Report building, equipment, plumbing and electrical problems as necessary.
• Ensure all equipment and tools are clean and in good operating condition.
• Perform room setups and takedowns as required.
• Assist with district events as required.
