Job summary

Elmhurst Park District in Illinois is seeking a part-time Facilities Worker I to perform custodial and basic maintenance duties across the district's facilities and grounds.

The role requires availability across all days with afternoon and evening shifts, approximately 20–30 hours per week, and the anticipated starting pay of $16.00 per hour. Pay grade D ranges from $15.25 to $25.50, with benefits for part-time staff.

Qualifications

• Some high school education.
• At least 18 years old.
• Valid Illinois Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Clean and disinfect all areas of facility and grounds as assigned.
• Perform light repair and maintenance of facility and grounds as assigned.
• Report building, equipment, plumbing and electrical problems, as necessary.
• Ensure all equipment, tools are clean and in good operating condition.
• Perform room set ups and take downs as required.
• Assist with district events, as required.
