Job summary

RiverMead in Peterborough, NH seeks a full-time Facilities Aide to maintain our buildings and grounds. Hours are Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM, with some on-call hours.

You’ll handle general repairs and maintenance: painting, basic carpentry and plumbing, minor mechanical and appliance repairs, keeping RiverMead running smoothly and looking its best. RiverMead is a not-for-profit, full-service LifeCare Community in Peterborough, NH.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years of general repair/maintenance experience.
• Valid driver's license with satisfactory record.
• Ability to work well in a team and perform basic math.

Responsibilities

• Perform general repairs and maintenance in residences and community buildings.
• Assist with carpentry and remodeling, including painting and wall repair; help residents move in.
• Handle minor plumbing repairs: toilets, faucets, showerheads.
• Maintain grounds: mowing, trimming, litter removal, janitorial duties.
• Participate in snow removal and on-call rotation; respond to resident emergencies.
• Maintain pool systems as directed.

You’ll handle general repairs and maintenance: painting, basic carpentry and plumbing, minor mechanical and appliance repairs, keeping RiverMead running smoothly and looking its best. RiverMead is a not-for-profit, full-service LifeCare Community in Peterborough, NH.

Responsibilities:

• Perform general repairs and maintenance in residences and community buildings, including minor fixes like fuses, sockets, and bulbs
• Assist with carpentry and remodeling projects, including painting and wall repair; help residents move in (hanging pictures, moving furniture, building shelves)
• Handle minor plumbing repairs: toilets, faucets, showerheads
• Maintain grounds: mowing, trimming, edging, litter removal, and general janitorial duties
• Participate in snow removal, including plowing and shoveling
• Respond to resident emergencies and participate in the on-call rotation
• Maintain pool systems as directed

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent, plus 2+ years of general repair/maintenance experience
• Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record
• Comfortable working as part of a team and completing basic math calculations
