Job summary

Methodist Hospital is hiring a Facilities Access Assistant to join our team and support safe access for patients and visitors. The role includes escorting individuals with limited mobility, wheelchair assistance, and reporting incidents for risk management evaluation.

The position is a full-time role with a Monday–Friday schedule, 7:45am–5:15pm. Training is provided to ensure safe and courteous service across PNHS facilities.

Qualifications

• Ability to interact and communicate verbally.
• Able to withstand long periods of walking, standing, and pushing wheelchairs.
• Able to withstand various types of weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Provide facility information and safe access assistance to patients, families, and staff.
• Escort persons of limited mobility to requested destinations and assist with wheelchair mobility.
• Submit written reports on incidents for Risk Management review.
