Job summary

Park Nicollet Methodist Hospital is seeking a Facilities Access Assistant to support safe access to PNHS facilities and assist patients and visitors with mobility needs. The role includes escorting individuals, wheelchair assistance, and reporting incidents for risk management evaluation.

The position requires the ability to communicate effectively, endure walking and standing for extended periods, and work in varied weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Ability to interact and communicate verbally.
• Able to withstand long periods of walking, standing, and pushing wheelchairs.
• Able to withstand various types of weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Escort community members to requested destinations and assist with safe access.
• Provide wheelchair assistance and walking escorts as needed.
• Support training in wheelchair use and lifting/moving assistance.
• Submit written incident reports for Risk Management review.
