Job summary

Bupa is hiring a Counsellor/Psychotherapist for Mindplace Newcastle. The role delivers high-quality counselling to Bupa customers, working autonomously within a multidisciplinary team and liaising with external services. It requires accreditation and post-qualification experience.

Sessions include face-to-face delivery, with flexible hours Mon-Fri and weekends, and a supportive benefits package. This position is based at Mindplace Newcastle, within the Clinical Services area.

Qualifications

• Essential: BACP Accredited Counsellors/Psychotherapists
• Essential: NCPS Professional Accredited Registrants
• Essential: UKCP Registered Psychotherapeutic Counsellors/Psychotherapists
• Essential: 3 years of full-time post-qualification counselling experience.
• Please note accreditation required at time of application
• Desirable: Training in incident support
• Desirable: Corporate experience and business understanding

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality counselling with excellent clinical outcomes.
• Deliver comprehensive assessments and formulations for interventions.
• Offer face-to-face sessions and other service delivery models.
• Follow Bupa case management processes and collaborate with Clinical Leads.
• Attend regular clinical supervision and team meetings.
• Collaborate with operational and clinical teams to improve client experiences.
