Job summary

KCI Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Facades Engineering Project Manager to lead our building envelope team.

You will manage technically complex façade projects from concept through construction, coordinating among architects, engineers, and field personnel to ensure performance and schedule adherence. The role requires a PE license and 7+ years in façade or related work, with strong communication and client-management skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil/structural/architectural eng or related field.
• 7+ years in facade engineering, building envelope, or related roles preferred.
• Experience managing projects and coordinating multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong knowledge of façade systems, materials, and performance.
• PE license required; excellent communication with clients and partners.

Responsibilities

• Manage façade engineering projects from concept through construction administration.
• Coordinate design and analysis of curtain wall, window wall, cladding, glazing, waterproofing.
• Serve as primary contact for clients, architects, contractors, and internal teams.
• Lead project planning: scope, schedules, budgets, and resources.
• Review submittals, RFIs, and field observations to support performance.
• Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, and building science pros to resolve issues.
• Support construction administration including site visits and issue resolution.
• Mentor junior engineers and designers on project teams.
• Contribute to proposals, fee development, and business development when needed.
