Job summary

KCI Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Facades Engineering Project Manager in New Jersey to lead complex façade projects from concept through construction.

Ideal candidates have 7+ years in façade engineering, a PE license, and strong collaboration with architects, engineers and clients. The role emphasizes leadership, planning, and hands-on project delivery in a dynamic, owner-employee environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of façade engineering or related design/construction experience
• Professional Engineer (PE) license is required
• Excellent communication with clients and project partners

Responsibilities

• Manage façade engineering projects from concept design through construction administration
• Coordinate design and analysis of façade systems, including curtain wall, window wall, cladding, glazing, waterproofing, and enclosure assemblies
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, architects, contractors, and internal project teams
• Lead project planning, including scope development, schedules, budgets, and resource coordination
• Review shop drawings, submittals, RFIs, and field observations to support constructability and performance requirements
• Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, and building science professionals to resolve issues
• Support construction administration activities, including site visits, issue resolution, and reporting
• Mentor and support junior engineers and designers as part of project teams
• Contribute to proposals, fee development, and business development efforts as needed
