Job summary

Just Construction Recruitment seeks a seasoned façade professional to lead complex commercial glazing and building envelope projects in Chicago. You will oversee unitized and stick-built curtain wall systems from bid to closeout, coordinating with designers, fabricators and field teams.

The ideal candidate brings senior project management experience on high-rise and mixed-use façades, with strong financial discipline and a proven ability to deliver safely, on schedule and profitably.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering unitized curtain wall and/or window wall projects.
• Track record managing façades valued $2.5M–$30M.
• Understanding of façade engineering and shop drawings.
• Financial management: forecasting, cost control, change orders.
• Experience with general contractors, architects, engineers, fabricators and field teams.
• Ability to read architectural drawings and project schedules.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Familiarity with Procore, Bluebeam and MS Project.

Responsibilities

• Lead façade projects from contract award through completion.
• Coordinate unitized and stick-built curtain wall systems.
• Own budgets, forecasting, cash flow and change orders.
• Review drawings and specs to identify risks.
• Coordinate design development, shop drawings and submittals.
• Manage procurement, fabrication schedules and logistics.
• Develop and maintain project schedules.
• Coordinate with superintendents, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Attend client and design meetings.
• Resolve technical issues and RFIs.
• Manage risks and protect project margins.
• Monitor QA/QC, safety and closeout documentation.
• Mentor junior PMs.
